Facility Reservations will be available January 21, 2026 9am
Full Facility rentals are being accepted by $100.00 deposit only starting Jan 21, 2026. The price for the full-facility rentals is going to change on Feb 2, 2026. The deposit amount for the rental is to secure the date and time for the rental. Once the price has been changed, you will be billed the new amount. The new price will likely be $1,600.00/hr for weekday rentals (T-R) and $1,800.00/hr for weekend rentals (F-S).

Course Description
Parent-Tot class is meant to encourage swimming readiness and allow parents to bond with their children through games and songs with the objective of having fun and becoming comfortable in the water.

practice days
The season starts June 1, 2026 and ends on July 24, 2026. Practice is Monday through Friday with a few Saturday swim meets. Championship meets will be on Thursday, July 23, 2026.
parent meeting
Swim team Parent Meeting will be held on May 18, 2026 at 6:30pm. The Lindon Storm Parent Meeting is held at the Lindon Community Center (25 N Main Street).
registration
Swim team registration will take place after the Parent Meeting on May 18, 2026 for all those who made the team.
tryouts
Swim team tryouts will be held on May 16, 2026 (9:00am-12:00pm). These are drop-in tryouts so you may show up anytime. All those who want to be on the team need to attend. If you were on the team in 2025, you do not need to tryout. Just show up for the Parent Meeting/Registration. If you are wanting to switch levels, you need to tryout.

Camps
Jr. Lifeguarding Camp
The Junior Lifeguarding Camp is a two week-long educational and recreational summer program designed for youth. Junior Lifeguards experience a carefully planned schedule of lectures with topics including basic water safety, lifeguarding skills, CPR/AED and First Aid, balanced with physical conditioning and recreational activities. Along with leadership and team building skills, Junior Guards will also be taught basic job and interviewing skills. This program will also train candidates to become a water safety instructor aide (WSI-A). This unique aquatic program is taught by professional Lifeguards and Water Safety Instructors.

Participants must be at least 11 years old before the first day of the sessions.
Participants are expected to bring a sack lunch as no lunch is provided.
Participants must also come prepared to get in the water each day.
Each participant must bring the following: swim suit, towel, lunch, and goggles.
Drop off and pickup each day will be outside the front gates at a designated area.
Participants must be able to swim at least 25 yards.
**Goggles are optional.

Certification courses
American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification Course
Learn how to effectively prevent and respond to water emergencies with the American Red Cross Lifeguard training. Our courses are designed to arm you with the skills and knowledge to prepare you for a variety of scenarios in and around the water. With our lifeguard training, you will learn how quick response times and effective preparation are vital to being a lifeguard while also understanding the crucial elements in helping to prevent drownings and injuries.

The American Red Cross Lifeguard training and certification are imperative to the process of getting hired on as an official Red Cross Lifeguard. Our detailed training includes both testing of hands-on skills as well as comprehension on written tests. The certification, which includes First Aid, CPR and AED training, is valid for two years upon completion and is accepted nationwide. The American Red Cross is the most respected source for training and certification of this kind.

PREREQUISITES: All candidates must be a minimum of 15 years old by the last day of the course and must pass a pre-test as outlined below. The goal of the pre-test is to ensure participants have a reasonable expectation to successfully complete the course. The pre-test will take place the first day of the course and will consist of the successful demonstration of the following skills:

Prerequisite 1: Swim-Tread-Swim Sequence (150/50 yards)
-
Participants must complete the following sequence:
-
Jump into the water from the side, totally submerge, recover to the surface and swim 150 yards.
-
After swimming 150 yards, maintain position at the surface of the water without support for 2 minutes by treading.
-
After maintaining position at the surface of the water for 2 minutes, swim 50 more yards.
-
-
While swimming, you must swim continuously, keeping your face in the water and demonstrating good breath control.
-
You may use the front crawl, breaststroke, or a combination of both. Swimming on the back or side is not permitted.
-
Swim goggles are allowed.
-

Prerequisite 2: Timed Event
-
Googles are not allowed for the timed event.
-
Participants have 1 minute, 40 seconds to complete the following sequence.
-
Staring in the water, swim 20 yards. Participants face may be in or out of the water.
-
Surface dive (feet-first or head-first) to a depth of 7 to 10 feet to retrieve a 10-pound object.
-
Return to the surface and swim 20 yards on your back to return to the starting point, holding the object at the surface with both hands and keeping your face at or near the surface. Swimming the distance underwater is not permitted.

Exit the water without using a ladder or the steps.
-

Failure of the pre-test disqualifies you from taking the course.
