Thanksgiving dinner cancelled
After careful thought and consideration, we have decided to cancel the Mayor's Annual Thanksgiving Day Dinner due to the rising number of Covid-19 cases in the County. However, we will plan on resuming the annual dinner next year when we can all meet together safely. Thanks so much for your interest and have a safe and happy Thanksgiving Holiday!
lETTERS TO SANTA
Lindon Parks and Recreation haVE Joined Santa’s team this year! We will have a Santa’s Mailbox at the Lindon Community Center, next to the big Christmas tree, for your kiddos to drop off their letters to Santa! THE MAILBOX WILL BE AVAILABLE December 1st-20th. Letters written on this TEMPLATE will even receive a response, AS LONG AS IT IS DROPPED OFF NO LATER THAN DECEMBER 20.
HAVE FUN WRITING SANTA! make sure TO drop off TEMPLATE LETTERS in time for sANTA and his elves to reply.

CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING CEREMONY
DUE TO GATHERING RESTRICTIONS WE HAVE HAD TO MODIFY OUR Christmas TREE LIGHTING CEREMONY THIS YEAR. INSTEAD OF GATHERING TOGETHER, WE WILL BE POSTING A SHORT VIDEO ON THE LINDON CITY FACEBOOK PAGE. THIS VIDEO WILL INCLUDE A BRIEF HISTORY OF THE CHRSITMAS TREE LIGTHING TRADITION BY ONE OF OUR HISTROCIAL COMMISSION MEMBERS, WORDS FROM OUR MAYOR, LIGHITNG OF THE CHRISTMAS TREE, AND A COUNT DOWN TO OUR SANTA PARADE.
